Overview

Hours: Mon to Thurs 08:30 to 17:30, Fri 08:30 to 17:00 and Sat 09:00 to 13:00 (1 in 4 on rota)

£26,000 to £28,000 basic, plus bonus of £6,000

 

Charles Hurst Motorrad BMW are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our motorcycle dealership. As the first point of contact for service customers, you’ll play a key role in ensuring a smooth and satisfying service experience. You will be responsible for scheduling service appointments, advising customers on necessary repairs and maintenance, and liaising between the customer and service technicians. 

Responsibilities

  • Schedule service appointments and maintain an organized calendar.

 

  • Understand and communicate technical motorcycle service and maintenance requirements to customers.

 

  • Provide accurate estimates for service work and explain any additional services or repairs recommended by technicians.

 

  • Act as a liaison between customers and the workshop, ensuring clear and timely updates on job status.

 

  • Coordinate parts ordering and availability to ensure timely completion of services.

Qualifications

You must have heaps of energy, a warm personality, and a real passion for delivering a first-class customer experience each and every time. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport easily whilst being able to explain technical information in a way that is clear and concise.

 

Previous experience using Kerridge / ADP would be an advantage, as well as having knowledge of other essential dealer systems, this is not essential as full training will be provided

 

You will be a great team player but be able to also work independently using your own initiative. We want to hear from you if you have worked in a similar role within the automotive industry and have a passion for customer service and motorcycles!

 

A full motorcycle licence would be advantageous but not essential
