Overview

Location: Charles Hurst Head Office; Boucher Road, Belfast

Working hours: 37.5; Monday-Friday 08:45-17:00

Salary: £28,000- £32,000

John Carson (Head Office Accountant) is on the hunt for a ‘Purchase Ledger Team Leader’ to come and join his well-established team within a full-time office-based position.

Within this role you will report directly into John Carson and support a team of seven 'Purchase Ledger Administrators' on a day-to-day basis whilst also promoting their personal development and growth.

  • Maintaining company’s purchase ledger with the assistance of the team
  • Reconciling supplier statements to accounts for payments
  • Ensuring supplier reconciliations and payments are evenly distributed to the team and updating supplier information to our internal DMS
  • Reconciling manufacturer purchase ledger accounts taken by DD
  • Reviewing the purchase ledger team’s weekly purchase ledger payment reconciliations
  • Ensuring all documents are processed on time and fully completed for month end close as well as liaising with internal management and external customers
  • Assisting with closedown of purchase ledger at month end

We are on the hunt for a candidate which can demonstrate excellent communication literacy, in particular Excel and Outlook. The possession of excellent organisational and communication skills is also essential! Within this role it is also essential that you’re able work under pressure as well as meet tight deadlines.
